The Rundown

  • On November 4, 2026 the MUR Mega Lucario ex from MEGA Brave (092/063) lists at ¥39,800 at yuyu-tei and is sold out. The MUR Mega Gardevoir ex from MEGA Symphonia (also 092/063) is ¥34,800 with 2 in stock.
  • The next most expensive card in either set is a Supporter, the SAR リーリエの決心 (Lillie, 091/063) at ¥17,800. After that the asks drop to ¥8,980 and below.
  • The shop buys back the Lucario MUR at ¥28,000 (70% of its ask) but the Gardevoir MUR at ¥17,000 (49%). The sold-out card gets the narrower gap.
  • Both MURs carry the number 092/063. The set mark in the bottom-left corner (M1L or M1S) is the only thing on the card that tells the two sets apart by number.
  • Officially each box is 30 packs at ¥5,400. On Kakaku.com the cheapest sealed MEGA Brave box is ¥9,000 and the cheapest MEGA Symphonia box ¥8,000.

MEGA Brave (メガブレイブ) and MEGA Symphonia (メガシンフォニア) are the twin expansion packs that opened the MEGA era in Japan on August 1, 2025, at ¥180 for 5 cards each. Fifteen months later, each set’s value sits mostly in one gold card. On November 4, 2026, the MUR Mega Lucario ex (メガルカリオex) lists at ¥39,800 at yuyu-tei (遊々亭) and is sold out, while the MUR Mega Gardevoir ex (メガサーナイトex) is ¥34,800 with two copies on the shelf. Below are the singles that matter in both sets, what the shop’s buyback says about them, and how a sealed box compares.

How much are MEGA Brave and MEGA Symphonia cards in Japan?

Three cards across the pair cost more than ¥10,000: the two MURs and one Supporter SAR. Everything else is ¥8,980 or less, and the median card in each set is under ¥100. yuyu-tei lists 91 collector numbers per set, up to 092/063.

The table is yuyu-tei’s posted 販売 (hanbai) sell price and 買取 (kaitori) buyback price, read from the shop’s live pages on November 4, 2026. A sell price is a shop listing, not a completed sale. “Sold out” means the page showed × for stock; “In stock” means it showed ◯ rather than a count. This is one large Tokyo shop, and Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions and other stores keep their own numbers.

The Supporters stay in Japanese because we could not confirm their English card names from an official page. The two cheapest SARs sit far below the rest: マチスの取引 (090/063, Brave) at ¥780 and ミツルの思いやり (091/063, Symphonia) at ¥880. Most SRs are ¥420 to ¥780 and most ARs ¥220 to ¥500. If MUR, SAR and AR are new terms, start with Japanese rarities explained.

By shop rarity labels each set has the same shape: 1 MUR, 5 SAR, 11 SR, 12 AR, 5 RR, 6 R, 21 U and 30 C. The MUR and five SARs make up ¥71,820 of MEGA Brave’s ¥88,960 total (81%) and ¥53,600 of MEGA Symphonia’s ¥64,910 (83%).

What does the buyback say about the two MURs?

The buyback is what the shop pays with its own money, so it is the closest thing to a floor a public page gives you. It pays 70% of its ask on the sold-out Lucario but only 49% on the Gardevoir it has in stock.

The gold card above is the MEGA Brave MUR, and its second attack is the set’s name, メガブレイブ. The official card search entry confirms it as 092/063 MUR, and the matching entry for Mega Gardevoir ex shows the same number and rarity for MEGA Symphonia.

  • SAR Mega Venusaur ex 087/063 (Brave) buys back ¥1,700 (34%)asks ¥4,980

Bars show the ratio, not the amount. The cards the shop holds in quantity tend to get the lowest ratio.

The pattern matches what we saw in other MEGA sets. A sold-out MUR with a buyback near 70% is a shop that wants copies back, the same reading as the Mega Charizard X ex in our Inferno X price list. A MUR in stock at 49% is a shop that already has what it needs. None of this says where either price goes next, and we are not suggesting anyone buy a card to resell it. For a collector, the useful part is room to negotiate: a wide gap between ask and buyback usually means a seller has more give. The general method for reading these two pages is in how to check what a Japanese card is worth.

Is a sealed box cheaper than the single?

Not for a named card. The official box is ¥5,400 for 30 packs, but the cheapest sealed boxes on Kakaku.com are ¥9,000 (MEGA Brave) and ¥8,000 (MEGA Symphonia), and neither MUR is guaranteed in any number of boxes.

Pokémon Center Online sold both boxes by lottery (抽選販売, chūsen hanbai) at ¥5,400 including tax, delivered to Japanese addresses only, and both listings now show 品切れ (sold out). The Kakaku.com figures are the lowest shop prices on the comparison page, updated November 3, 2026. The official product page says cards are inserted at random and publishes no pull rates, so we cannot tell you how many boxes a MUR takes on average. The community box tallies in our booster box guarantees guide are counts from openers, not official figures.

There is also the Premium Trainer Box MEGA (¥6,350 at launch, 10 packs of each set plus fixed cards), which is how many collectors opened both sets at once. Its fixed cards are play cards, not the chase prints in our table.

🗼 What we can do about this

The MEGA Brave MUR is sold out at the big shop, the official boxes only went to Japanese addresses by lottery, and both MURs share the number 092/063. Send the card and set you want, whether that is the gold Lucario, the gold Gardevoir or the Lillie SAR, and we check the live Japanese listings (shop stock, Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions) and send back a free report: the listings we would pick, the yen price, condition notes, and an all-in estimate including proxy fees and shipping to your country. If buying locally works out cheaper, the report says so. You buy directly from the links. Our job is finding the best way to buy it from Japan and telling you.

Which 092/063 is which?

Read the set mark, not just the number. In this pair, 092/063 is two different gold cards: Mega Lucario ex in MEGA Brave and Mega Gardevoir ex in MEGA Symphonia. The set mark printed next to the number, M1L or M1S, is what separates them.

⚠️ Same number, two sets, ¥5,000 apart

Both sets run to 092/063, so a listing that says "092/063 MUR Japanese" without the Pokémon's name could be either card. The names also repeat inside each set. Mega Lucario ex is 029/063 RR at ¥80, 078/063 SR at ¥780, 088/063 SAR at ¥5,980 and 092/063 MUR at ¥39,800. Mega Gardevoir ex is 042/063 RR at ¥80, 078/063 SR at ¥500, 087/063 SAR at ¥8,980 and 092/063 MUR at ¥34,800 (yuyu-tei asks, November 4, 2026). Check the name, the number and the M1L or M1S mark in the bottom-left corner before you pay, and ask for a close-up if any of them is not visible.

The same check applies to the Lillie Supporter, which appears twice in MEGA Brave: 086/063 SR and 091/063 SAR. Here the cheaper print is ¥5,980 and the SAR ¥17,800, so a title that only says “Lillie SAR” still needs a number.

How do you compare an overseas listing with the Japanese price?

Search by name plus number, then add your fixed costs to the yen figure before you compare. A raw MUR at ¥39,800 plus proxy fees and shipping is the Japanese side of the comparison. Graded copies are a different product, so compare raw with raw.

For the overseas side, an eBay search for Mega Lucario ex 092/063 japanese (paid link) and one for Mega Gardevoir ex 092/063 japanese (paid link) show live listings to set against the shop asks. Keep in mind the Lucario figure is a sold-out ask, not a price you could pay at that shop today.

✅ Before you pay for a MEGA Brave or MEGA Symphonia chase card

  • Match name, number and set mark: Mega Lucario ex 092/063 is M1L, Mega Gardevoir ex 092/063 is M1S.
  • Note the date on any yen price you use. Ours is November 4, 2026.
  • Check the stock line: a sold-out ask is a reference, not an offer.
  • Add proxy fees and shipping to the Japanese ask before comparing.
  • On a cheap SR or AR, remember that postage from Japan can cost more than the card.

What is official, and what is not confirmed?

Official: the ¥180 pack of 5 cards for each set, the August 1, 2025 release, the ¥5,400 box of 30 packs, and 092/063 as the MUR in both sets. The first two come from the official product page, the box contents from the Pokémon Center Online listings, and the MUR numbers from the official card search.

Not official: every price in this article. The singles are one shop’s asks and buybacks on one day, and the box figures are the lowest of 27 and 19 shop listings on a price comparison site. The 91-card count per set is yuyu-tei’s list. The official product page shows card images 001 to 063 for each set, so we did not confirm the full secret-rare checklist there.

Overseas, the English-language Mega Evolution expansion, released September 26, 2025, is led by Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex according to pokemon.com. English collector numbers are different, so the Japanese numbers above only work on Japanese listings. For upcoming MEGA sets, the JP release calendar has the official dates. Read this page as a record of where one Tokyo shop priced MEGA Brave and MEGA Symphonia on November 4, 2026, not as a forecast.
