Aura Seeker Booster Box from Overseas: Lottery, Preorder, Launch

Published Oct 27, 2026 8 min read

The Rundown

  • Aura Seeker (ハドウシーカー) releases in Japan on Friday, November 27, 2026 at ¥200 per 5-card pack. The official store prices the 30-pack box at ¥6,000. There are 4 routes to a box, and 2 of them work from overseas.
  • Pokémon Center Online's ¥6,000 box lottery took entries October 23 to 26 and is now closed. Results post October 30, and winning boxes ship November 25 to 28 to Japanese addresses only.
  • Japanese shops are already taking preorders above list price: ¥17,400 to ¥18,500 on Yahoo! Shopping and ¥19,790 to ¥33,000 on Rakuten on October 27, 2026. A proxy such as Buyee or ZenMarket can place those orders for you.
  • In-store launch lotteries need you at the counter with photo ID in your own name, so they are not a route from abroad.
  • Our one data point for after launch: Storm Emeralda's sealed-box median fell from ¥25,000 on August 6 to ¥16,604 on October 22. That is one set's history, not a forecast for Aura Seeker.

You want a sealed box of Aura Seeker, you live outside Japan, and the release is a month away. Here is every route a box takes out of Japan, checked on October 27, 2026. The ¥6,000 official-store lottery is already closed and was never open to you. What you can do from overseas is preorder from a Japanese shop through a proxy, or wait and buy after November 27.

How can I get an Aura Seeker booster box from outside Japan?

Use a proxy to buy one of the shop preorders already listed in Japan, or buy a sealed box after release. Both the ¥6,000 lottery and the in-store draws require a Japanese address, an account or ID in your own name, or both.

Aura Seeker (ハドウシーカー, set code m7) is a regular MEGA-series expansion: ¥200 for a 5-card pack, out Friday, November 27, 2026, per the official set page. The set page lists no box size. Pokémon Center Online, The Pokémon Company’s own store, lists the box at ¥6,000 with 1BOX=30パック, the same 30-pack format as Storm Emeralda. Release details and the featured cards are in our Aura Seeker release date article. This page is only about how to buy one.

Pokémon Center Online: the ¥6,000 lottery closed on October 26

Pokémon Center Online (PCO) ran its Aura Seeker box lottery from October 23 at 16:00 to October 26 at 16:59 JST. It is closed, and it was limited to Japan from the start.

The store split the draw into two listings, both ¥6,000 with a limit of one per person. One is for members whose Players Club identity check (本人認証) was complete during the entry window. The other is for members without it, and pays by 3D Secure credit card only. If a verified member enters the unverified frame, that entry loses.

Winners order: October 30 to November 2The window closes at 16:59 JST on November 2. Miss it and the win is void.
4
Shipping: November 25 to 28Japanese addresses only, never before the release date, and the ship-to cannot be changed through the courier.

Three lines on the listing close every workaround. Delivery is “limited to within Japan”. The purchase right is valid only for the applicant and cannot be transferred. And redirecting the parcel through the courier is not allowed. PCO’s membership terms add the residency requirement, which we went through in our PCO lottery guide. A proxy can’t enter for you, and a friend who enters wins the box for themselves, not for you.

No second PCO lottery for Aura Seeker has been announced as of October 27, 2026. Storm Emeralda did get a second draw in October, two months after its launch, again for Japanese addresses only.

Shop preorders through a proxy: what is listed today

Japanese shops on Rakuten and Yahoo! Shopping are already taking Aura Seeker box preorders, at roughly three times the ¥6,000 store price. A proxy service can place one of those orders for you.

Here is what we could read on October 27, 2026. These are list prices on the shops’ pages, before any shipping, proxy fees or import tax.

WhereWhat we saw on October 27, 2026Shrink
Yahoo! Shopping2 preorder listings from one shop: ¥17,400 and ¥18,500¥17,400 is シュリンクなし (shrink removed). ¥18,500 is シュリンク付き (shrink on)
Rakuten Ichiba8 box preorder listings on the first page: ¥19,790, ¥19,800 (two), ¥21,000, ¥21,160, ¥21,200, ¥21,500, ¥33,000Most say shrink on. Read each title
Amazon.co.jp¥16,790 in the main buy box. An invitation-request notice is on the page, and the lowest of 14 offers reads ¥6,006Not stated in the buy box

The ¥6,006 on Amazon.co.jp works like the ¥6,000 at PCO. It sits behind an invitation system that needs a Japanese Amazon account, so it is not a price a proxy can pay for you. The ¥16,790 in the buy box is the one you would actually reach.

How the proxy route works: you paste the shop’s product URL into Buyee or ZenMarket. The proxy buys it on your behalf with its own Japanese address and receives the box when the shop ships, around November 27. Then it forwards the box to you. The PCO listing gives the box weight as 300 g, which fits the smallest international parcel tiers. Our Storm Emeralda box price article put Japan Post at about ¥2,700 tracked or ¥5,300 by EMS to the US for that tier, before the proxy’s own fees.

Two cautions before you pay. Some listings cap orders per person, so read the notes (one of the Rakuten listings says お一人様3個まで, three per person). And confirm whether the price includes domestic shipping to the proxy’s warehouse.

⚠️ A preorder premium is paid now; the box price is set later

Every preorder above is priced before a single box exists in a buyer's hands. For Storm Emeralda, the sealed-box median on Yahoo! Shopping was ¥25,000 on August 6, a week after launch, and ¥16,604 on October 22, with the cheapest at ¥10,978. A ¥20,000 preorder was not the bargain it looked like at the time. Be even more careful with Mercari or auction listings marked 予約 before November 27: an individual seller cannot have a box in hand yet, so you are paying for a promise, not stock.

🗼 What we can do about this

The ¥6,000 box is locked behind a Japan-only lottery, and the preorders you can reach range from ¥16,790 to ¥33,000 with fees still to come. Nobody can enter the PCO draw for you, so the useful question is which reachable listing is the real one at the best total. Tell us you want an Aura Seeker box. The desk checks the live Japanese preorder listings, and after release the sealed stock on Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions and shop pages. Then we send back a free report with the listings we would pick, the yen price, the shrink and condition notes, and an all-in estimate including proxy fees and shipping to your country. You buy directly from the links; our job is finding the best way to buy it from Japan and telling you.

In-store launch lotteries: open only to people at the counter

Japanese card shops and Pokémon Center stores usually allocate launch-week boxes by in-store draw (店頭抽選), and those draws tie the win to the person who entered.

We have not surveyed shop announcements for Aura Seeker draws, so the rules below come from earlier sets. When we read four shops’ published draw rules in September, every one of them bound the win to the entrant. SHIBUYA TSUTAYA matches photo ID against the name and address used at entry and refuses collection by anyone else. Pokémon Center MEGA TOKYO requires a live ticket screen in the LINE app at pickup. Hareruya2 refuses proxy purchases, transfer of the win, and buyers for export. The full rules are in our in-store lottery guide.

If you will be in Japan around November 27, these draws are worth checking. Otherwise, treat them as a reason why launch-week supply reaches the open market slowly, not as a route. Lotteries that will register and ship to overseas buyers at all are tracked on our lotteries page.

After November 27: buying a sealed box once it exists

After release you can buy a sealed box that is in stock, through a proxy from Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions or a Japanese shop, or from an eBay seller at home. The only thing we can tell you about price is what happened to the last set like it.

Storm Emeralda (ストームエメラルダ, m6) had the same ¥200 pack, the same 30-pack box and the same ¥6,000 PCO price. Here is how its open-market box price moved, from our own reads:

Storm Emeralda sealed boxPriceWhere
Official store price¥6,000, lottery onlyPokémon Center Online
August 6, 2026 (one week after release)Median ¥25,000, range ¥19,800 to ¥34,98019 listings, Yahoo! Shopping
October 22, 2026 (about twelve weeks after)Median ¥16,604, range ¥10,978 to ¥34,98023 listings, Yahoo! Shopping

That is one set over one autumn. Aura Seeker’s print run, chase cards and demand are their own story, and we are not predicting its price. What the table does show is that a launch-week ask is not a ceiling or a floor. It is just the first number.

For buyers who would rather not deal with a proxy, eBay sellers list Japanese boxes for international delivery. Search Pokemon Aura Seeker japanese booster box on eBay (paid link) and compare the delivered total with a proxy order from Japan. Before release, any eBay listing is also a preorder, so the warning above applies there too.

Which route fits you?

Preorder now if having a box on release week matters to you. Wait if the price matters more.

📦 Preorder now via proxy

  • ¥17,400 to ¥33,000 listed on October 27, plus fees
  • A named shop and a stated ship date
  • The box should reach your proxy around November 27
  • You lock in today's premium

⏳ Buy after November 27

  • Real stock you can see before paying
  • More listings to compare than a handful of preorder shops
  • Price unknown. Storm Emeralda fell after launch, but that is one set
  • You wait weeks and might pay more

Whichever you pick, judge the listing by its shrink line (シュリンク付き means shrink on) and by its total landed cost, not by the ¥6,000 figure. That price exists, but only for Japan-resident winners of a draw that closed on October 26.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enter the Pokémon Center Online lottery for Aura Seeker from overseas?

No. Entries closed on October 26, 2026 at 16:59 JST, and the listing states that delivery is limited to Japan and that the purchase right belongs only to the person who entered. Pokémon Center Online's terms also limit membership to people resident in Japan, so a proxy cannot enter for you either.

How much does an Aura Seeker booster box cost?

¥6,000 at Pokémon Center Online, by lottery only, for 30 packs at ¥200 each. Everywhere a buyer outside Japan can actually order, it costs more: preorder listings read ¥17,400 to ¥18,500 on Yahoo! Shopping and ¥19,790 to ¥33,000 on Rakuten on October 27, 2026, before proxy fees and international shipping.

How many packs are in an Aura Seeker booster box?

30 packs of 5 cards. The official set page does not state a box size, but Pokémon Center Online's lottery listing says 1BOX=30パック, and the Amazon.co.jp listing says the same. That matches Storm Emeralda's box.

Will Pokémon Center Online run a second Aura Seeker lottery?

Nothing has been announced as of October 27, 2026. Storm Emeralda did get a second Pokémon Center Online lottery in October, two months after launch, but that does not guarantee one for Aura Seeker, and any repeat would again be limited to Japanese addresses.

Is it safe to buy an Aura Seeker preorder on Mercari?

It carries more risk than a shop preorder. Before November 27, nobody outside the supply chain has a box in hand, so an individual's preorder listing is a promise to deliver stock they expect to get. A shop preorder on Rakuten or Yahoo! Shopping at least comes with a named retailer and a stated ship date.
