30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set Price in Japan: ¥18,000 vs ¥6,200

The Rundown

  • A sealed 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon closes at a median of ¥17,999 in Japan: 144 single-set sales on Yahoo! Auctions and Yahoo! Flea Market between October 12 and 14, 2026, middle half ¥17,800 to ¥18,000. List price is ¥6,200.
  • The full-art Umbreon ex 044/040 is the whole story: ¥12,800 ask at yuyu-tei on October 14 with no stock, ¥9,000 buyback. The full-art Espeon ex 043/040 is ¥4,980 and in stock, buyback ¥1,500.
  • The four full arts (041 Victini, 042 Zeraora, 043 Espeon ex, 044 Umbreon ex) add up to ¥19,340 at ask, which is more than a ¥18,000 sealed set. One of every card in the set is ¥24,690, and the Umbreon alone is 52% of that.
  • Japanese online shops list the sealed set from ¥18,864 to ¥39,800 on kakaku.com; nine offers sit under ¥21,000. Pokémon Center Online's ¥6,200 pages are lottery-winners-only and the last order window shut September 8.
  • 40 of the 49 lines in the set are ¥120 or less. Only six cards cost more than ¥500.

You searched for the 30th anniversary Umbreon and landed on a Japanese deck set with a ¥6,200 price printed on it. That number is real, and nobody outside a lottery has paid it since September. As of October 14, 2026, a sealed 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon (30th CELEBRATION プレミアムデッキセット エーフィ・ブラッキー) closes at a median of ¥17,999 in Japan, and the full-art Umbreon ex 044/040 on its own is ¥12,800 at Tokyo shop yuyu-tei, out of stock, with a ¥9,000 buyback. What is inside the box and how the lotteries went is in the Premium Deck Set contents guide. This page is only about what it costs now.

How much does the 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set cost in Japan right now?

About ¥18,000 for a sealed set, 2.9 times the ¥6,200 list price. That is the median of 144 single-set sales that closed on Yahoo! Auctions and Yahoo! Flea Market (Yahoo!フリマ) between the morning of October 12 and the morning of October 14, 2026 JST. The spread is unusually tight: the middle half of those sales sits between ¥17,800 and ¥18,000, and the whole range runs ¥16,000 to ¥23,000.

Of which auction format¥17,500 median11 sales, ¥16,000–¥20,000

Japanese online shops via kakaku.com, cheapest¥18,864Rakuten shops; nine offers under ¥21,000
Japanese online shops via kakaku.com, highest¥39,800Same product, same day

The shop ladder is worth a second look. kakaku.com aggregates Rakuten, Yahoo! Shopping and Amazon.co.jp offers, and on October 14 it listed nine sealed offers between ¥18,864 and ¥20,960 before the next tier started at ¥22,528; the two offers labeled Amazon.co.jp were ¥25,000 and ¥27,500. So a Japanese shop with a returns policy costs about ¥900 to ¥3,000 more than the median private sale.

For scale, the ¥7,200 30th CELEBRATION booster box was closing at about ¥25,000 on October 8, a 3.5 times multiple; the numbers are in 30th CELEBRATION prices in Japan. The deck set’s multiple is lower, and the reason is in the next table.

What are the four full-art cards worth as singles? (Umbreon ex 044/040 and the rest)

One card carries this set: the full-art Umbreon ex 044/040 at ¥12,800, which is 52% of the ¥24,690 it costs to buy one of every card yuyu-tei lists. These are yuyu-tei (遊々亭) asking prices read on October 14, 2026, with the shop’s buyback beside each. The buyback is what a professional appraiser will pay with their own money; the stock line tells you whether anyone has tested the ask.

Two things stand out. First, the gap between the two headline cards is not close: the Umbreon ex asks 2.6 times the Espeon ex, and the buyback gap is six to one. The ¥9,000 buyback is also exactly where one Umbreon ex 044/040 closed on Yahoo! Auctions on October 13 after 13 bids, so the shop’s floor and the open market agree today. Second, the Umbreon is the one card the shop does not have. A ¥12,800 ask with 在庫 : × has not been paid by anyone at yuyu-tei that day; the tested numbers for this card are the two ¥9,000 figures.

💡 The rest of the set is pocket change

40 of the 49 lines yuyu-tei lists for set MF are ¥120 or less, and only six cards cost more than ¥500. The two Supporters that matter for play, Boss's Orders (ボスの指令) and Lillie's Determination (リーリエの決心), are ¥120 each.

Sealed set at ¥18,000, or the Umbreon ex alone at ¥12,800?

Today the arithmetic favors the sealed set if you want all four full arts, and the single if you want only the Umbreon. The four full arts add up to ¥19,340 at yuyu-tei’s asks (¥12,800 + ¥4,980 + ¥780 + ¥780), which is already above the ¥17,999 a sealed set closes for, and the set also hands you both 60-card decks, the tin double deck case, two coins, the playmat and the counters. At buyback the same four cards are ¥11,200, so the floor under a ¥18,000 set is a little over 60% of its price before you count anything else in the box.

The single wins on postage. A card in a toploader ships in an envelope; a tin case with 120 cards and a full-size playmat ships from Japan Post’s 1 kg EMS row. If the Umbreon ex is the only thing you want, ¥12,800 plus a small parcel beats ¥18,000 plus a heavy one, with the caveat that the ¥12,800 was untested on October 14 and the tested price was ¥9,000.

⚠️ A set far below ¥16,000 is a set with something missing

Of the 200 closings we read, the "sealed set" titles that fell below the ¥16,000 to ¥23,000 band said why: listings titled プロモなし or プロモカード無し ("no promo card") closed at ¥3,000, ¥3,999 and ¥8,750. The official contents list has no promo card, so a title like that means the box was opened and something taken out, and with the Umbreon ex 044/040 at 52% of the set's single value, a set minus one card is worth about half. Read the title and the photos for テープ (the factory tape) and for the words 未開封 (unopened) before you treat any bargain as a bargain.

🗼 What we can do about this

The two numbers that matter here, a ¥12,800 Umbreon ex nobody can buy today and a ¥18,000 sealed median read off 144 Japanese-language listings, both need someone to check the live page on the day you order, not the day we wrote this. Send us what you actually want: one sealed 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set, or the singles by number (044/040 Umbreon ex, 043/040 Espeon ex, 041/040 Victini, 042/040 Zeraora). The desk checks the live Japanese listings on Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions and the shop pages, and sends back a free report with the listings we would pick, the yen price, whether a set is factory-taped, condition notes on singles, and an all-in estimate including proxy fees and shipping to your country. You buy directly from the links. Our job is finding the best way to buy it from Japan and telling you, and if the best way on the day is the single rather than the set, the report says so.

Where the ¥18,000 comes from: 144 closings in two days

The 200 most recent closings the search returned all ended between October 12 at 09:32 and October 14 at 07:30 JST, so this is a two-day reading, not a two-week one. The page states about 8,887 closings for this search over the past 120 days at an average of ¥21,795; that average mixes in multi-set lots and booster-box bundles, which is why we do not quote it as the price.

From the 200 we kept the 144 that were one sealed set. We dropped 19 two-set lots (median ¥36,000, so ¥18,000 a set, the same answer), larger lots, bundles with the FUTURISTIC BOX or booster boxes, singles, supplies-only listings, the “no promo” titles above, and three single-set listings that closed at ¥35,999, ¥54,500 and ¥72,000 with no explanation in the title. By day, October 12 gave 69 sales at a ¥17,900 median and October 13 gave 71 at ¥18,000. Ten listings that mention the factory tape (テープ付き) closed at a ¥17,850 median, so unlike shrink-wrap on the booster box, tape earns no premium here; sealed is the default and the tape is assumed.

The method for reading any Japanese card’s price off the mirrored sell and buyback pages is in how to check what a Japanese card is worth.

Import from Japan now, or wait for the English Battle Deck on October 30?

If you want this box, Japan is the only place it exists, and the supply there is deep: 144 sealed sets changed hands in two days at a near-identical price. The English 30th Celebration Battle Deck—Espeon ex & Umbreon ex due October 30, 2026, as our contents guide recorded it from the Pokémon.com showcase, is a different product: one deck per box, Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, no tin double deck case.

🇯🇵 Buy from Japan (cheaper, verified today)

  • Sealed set ¥18,000 median on Yahoo! Flea Market / Auctions, ¥18,864 and up at shops
  • Umbreon ex 044/040 single ¥12,800 ask (¥9,000 tested)
  • Needs a proxy or forwarder: add their fee plus EMS from the 1 kg row for the box, a letter rate for a single
  • Mercari and Yahoo! Auctions through Buyee reach the same listings the ¥18,000 median came from

🌎 Buy locally on eBay (fewer steps, unpriced here)

  • No proxy account, no yen, a local returns process
  • We did not price eBay listings for this check, so compare the landed total yourself
  • Confirm it is the two-deck Japanese set, not the English single Battle Deck
  • Ask where the parcel ships from and when

Japan first, because it is the side we measured: a proxy fee plus 1 kg EMS on top of ¥18,000 is a number you can compute from the import tax and customs breakdown, and the Mercari and Yahoo! Auctions searches in the box at the foot of this page reach the same listings. If you would rather skip the proxy, the sealed set on eBay (paid link) and the Umbreon ex 044/040 single on eBay (paid link) are the two searches to set against the Japanese numbers: compare the eBay total, shipping included, with ¥18,000 or ¥12,800 plus your proxy’s fee and postage, and let the lower number decide.

What this check could not confirm

Three gaps, stated plainly. We could not read the Pokémon.com 30th Celebration showcase with our tools on October 14 (the page loads through scripts), so the English Battle Deck’s October 30 date and single-deck format rest on our contents guide’s earlier reading. We did not read Mercari closings, so the ¥18,000 median is a Yahoo-only figure; the kakaku.com shop offers point the same way. And the Umbreon ex 044/040’s ¥12,800 ask had no stock behind it, so the only prices verifiably paid for that card on October 13 and 14 are the two ¥9,000 figures. Every other number here was read from the linked source on October 14, 2026, and all of them can move by the time you read this. The rest of the 30th CELEBRATION lineup sits on our JP release calendar.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the 30th anniversary Umbreon ex from Japan?

The full-art Umbreon ex, card 044/040 in the Japanese 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set, was ¥12,800 at Tokyo shop yuyu-tei on October 14, 2026, with no copies in stock and a ¥9,000 buyback. One copy closed at ¥9,000 on Yahoo! Auctions on October 13 after 13 bids. The regular Umbreon ex, card 017/040, is ¥780. There is no separate 30th anniversary Umbreon product in Japan; this deck set is where the card comes from.

How much does the 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set cost in Japan right now?

About ¥18,000 sealed on the Japanese resale market as of October 14, 2026. The median of 144 single-set closings on Yahoo! Auctions and Yahoo! Flea Market between October 12 and 14 was ¥17,999, with the middle half between ¥17,800 and ¥18,000. Japanese online shops aggregated on kakaku.com start at ¥18,864. The official price is ¥6,200, but Pokémon Center Online sold it only by lottery and the last order window closed on September 8.

Is the Umbreon ex worth more than the Espeon ex?

By a wide margin on October 14, 2026. yuyu-tei asks ¥12,800 for the full-art Umbreon ex 044/040 and ¥4,980 for the full-art Espeon ex 043/040; the buybacks are ¥9,000 and ¥1,500. The two full-art partner cards, Victini 041/040 and Zeraora 042/040, are ¥780 each. The Umbreon alone is 52% of the ¥24,690 it costs to buy one of every card in the set.

Should I buy the sealed set or just the Umbreon ex single?

Run the arithmetic for the cards you want. On October 14, 2026 the four full arts cost ¥19,340 at ask, more than the ¥18,000 a sealed set closes for, and the set also contains both 60-card decks, the tin double deck case, two coins and the playmat. If you only want the Umbreon ex, the single at ¥12,800 ships far cheaper than a tin box, but check the stock line first: with 在庫 : × the ask is untested.

Can I still get it for ¥6,200 from Pokémon Center Online?

No. Both Pokémon Center Online lottery pages were still live on October 14, 2026 at ¥6,200, but they state that only lottery winners can order, the order window ran September 4 to 8, and winners are shipped November 1 to 15. No new round has been announced for this product, and the lottery was never open to addresses outside Japan in any case.
